What to know about new standardized isolation signage

The Washington State Hospital Association (WSHA) is pleased to announce that the standardized isolation precaution signage has been updated at the request of hospitals in Washington State; the new signage will be discussed in a webinar on Sep. 10.

Representatives from large and small hospitals across the state, the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) members and the Washington Department of Health participated in the creation of the signage.

On Sept. 10th, Ron Csech, RN, PHN, BSN, IP, Assistant Director, Safety and Quality will present: “New Standardized Isolation Signage: What to Know.”

The webinar will provide information basics of the signage as well as updates made to the original 2009 signage. The Isolation Signage was created with the goal of making it easier for physicians and staff to provide safe care for patients. If you are interested in attending, please sign up here.
