Stericycle Manager of OSHA and HIPAA Compliance Jamie Farley will define what a bloodborne pathogen is and provide examples of more common pathogens, such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and Human Immunodeficiency Virus. Attendees will also learn about OSHA’s requirement in the bloodborne pathogens standard for employers, which include exposure control plans, compliant sharps containers and proper label identification.
