Clinical Applications of Transplant Tissues will provide health care professionals the opportunity to learn about the history of tissue transplantation, the clinical and research applications for transplant and the impact of the gift of donation for donor families and recipients.
At the completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Discuss the history of tissue transplantation
- Review the types of tissues that can be donated for transplantation and research
- Identify the clinical need for transplant tissues
- Explain the impact of donation for the donor family and the recipients.
