WSHA will host two webcasts on July 26 detailing how the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA), which was passed by Congress in 2015, fundamentally changes how physicians are paid. WSHA will offer separate webcasts for critical access hospitals (8-9:30 a.m.) and non-critical access hospitals (12-1:30 p.m.), with speaker Harold D. Miller — president and CEO of the Center for Healthcare Quality and Payment Reform (CHQPR) and a nationally recognized expert — discussing the implications of MACRA for your hospital and your physicians.

The webcast will also help you begin to consider whether your hospital or health system may want to participate in eligible alternative payment systems, and it will discuss what resources WSHA has to offer.
