The Top Performer program is designed to promote health and safety best practices and recognize those organizations that demonstrate an active commitment to improving the performance of their health and safety program.
This year our Top Performer program challenged our member hospitals to improve their Accident Prevention Program. WHS performed an audit of each member’s Accident Prevention Program to help identify any gaps and ensure that all policies and procedures comply with current state laws. Members were then charged with the task of completing the audit recommendations by Aug. 31, 2021.
Member hospitals that successfully completed all audit recommendations within the required time period are recognized for their outstanding performance and commitment to improving their accident prevention program and the safety and health of their employees. Our 2021 Top Performer recipients are East Adams Rural Healthcare, Jefferson Healthcare, WhidbeyHealth Medical Center, Mason Health and Wenatchee Valley Hospital. Each hospital will receive a Top Performer plaque commemorating this achievement along with a $2,500 cash award.
