UW to offer professional development course on workplace violence

The University of Washington will offer a professional development course on workplace violence with the Washington Governor’s Industrial Safety and Health Conference in Spokane September 25. See the agenda. The course will cover an overview of the risk factors associated with workplace violence, new research on the psychosocial impact on workers, strategies for building resilience and the effectiveness of interventions used to date to prevent such violence.
