UW Medicine: Perinatal substance use and mental health conference series

The UW Medicine Department & Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences invites Washington State health care providers who want to improve the well-being and outcomes of their pregnant and postpartum patients to participate in its upcoming free, CME-accredited, virtual conference series.

The UW Perinatal Substance Use, Mental Health & Infant Mental Health Case Conference Series aims to increase frontline provider capacity to address common perinatal behavioral health conditions and infant mental health. It will be facilitated by a multidisciplinary team, including UW Medicine perinatal and addiction psychiatrists, obstetrician gynecologists, maternal fetal medicine experts, advanced registered nurse practitioners and social workers.

Monthly virtual case conference sessions will be held from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month from October 2022 to July 2023. Learn more and register online here. Questions should be directed to mcmh@uw.edu.
