The COVID-19 pandemic has added stress to a physician workforce that already was experiencing high levels of professional burnout. What can hospitals do to engage physicians, reduce their stress and decrease physician burnout and turnover? That question is addressed in the webinar Using Locums to Improve Physician Resiliency, presented by WHS Industry Partner StaffCare, a leading national locum tenens staffing company.

The webinar will review the current state of physician morale, particularly in light of the coronavirus pandemic, using data from a recent national physician survey. It will also address the ways in which hospitals are using locum tenens physicians to both address physician shortages and to enhance the morale and well-being of physicians. It will offer timely and practical guidelines for those hospitals seeking to enhance relations with their medical staffs and meet ongoing staffing and retention challenges.

Using Locums to Improve Physician Resiliency is presented by Merritt Hawkins and AMN Healthcare Vice President of Strategic Alliances Kurt Mosley.
