Upcoming webinar will focus on opioids and telehealth in a pandemic

The Washington State Medical Association (WSMA) will host a webinar on May 15 from 1-2 p.m. to help physicians and advanced practitioners care for their patients receiving opioid prescriptions to treat chronic pain via telemedicine during the pandemic. The webinar – featuring developers of the Six Building Blocks model, a team-based approach to improving opioid management in primary care – will delve into strategies to provide remote care for patients, bill for telemedicine, align with regulatory changes to opioid prescribing and telemedicine policies.
