Upcoming forum on compassionate and trauma-informed care for patients impacted by opioid use disorders

Swedish Medical Center is bringing together providers, agencies and programs to discuss how to improve care for patients with opioid use disorders. The free virtual forum will include interactive cases that focus on whole-person, trauma-informed care when approaching fentanyl, micro-dosing, buprenorphine initiation, pain management, and overdose prevention and treatment for patients with opioid use disorders, including those who are pregnant. The Zoom event will take place Nov. 30, 2020, from 1-3 p.m. PST and includes free CME for participants.
