Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster began welcoming patients to its new emergency room on March 19. The new ER is updated and larger, with seven large exam rooms and frosted glass doors for privacy, as well as a central workstation for nurses and providers that offers a clear line of sight to every patient room. The new ER is also closer to the on-site helipad for trauma transports.
“This is a very exciting move for Three Rivers Hospital,” Board Chair Mike Pruett said. “The new ER space in the hospital will do much to achieve our goal of providing consistent quality patient care. The efficiency of this new location will help the ER staff and providers better manage the always-changing challenges they face.”
