On May 29, the Democratic and Republican leadership of the House and Senate (“the four corners”) extended Gov. Inslee’s proclamation addressing telemedicine payment parity. This extension is through June 17. This allows hospitals and providers to continue to bill commercial health plans for telemedicine services at the same rate as if the service was provided at an in-person visit. This is the third extension of this proclamation. WSHA will continue to advocate for the extension of this proclamation.
