Swedish Edmonds is in the final stages of constructing a 77,000-square-foot addition to the hospital– its largest expansion in 40 years. The project includes a new state-of-the-art emergency department with private rooms that reduce patient wait times, a new outpatient diagnostic imaging center and upgraded facilities to better serve patients in mental health crisis.
The new facilities will open to patients Nov. 10, but the hospital will host a public grand opening from 11am-2pm on Saturday Nov. 7. RSVP for the grand opening here. Swedish Edmonds represents a great example of how hospitals across the state are working to ensure that as communities grow, they can continue to have access to high quality health services.
