The popularity of this clinic has exceeded the hospital’s expectations. Children with a documented fracture from an urgent care facility or hospital emergency room are sent to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Spokane the following business day, without the need for an appointment. The immediate referral process to the fracture clinic provides a reliable solution for busy providers, and parents appreciate the expedited care.
The popular program gives priority scheduling to its pediatric fracture patients, Monday through Friday from 7:30-9am. If the child’s medical needs require surgery, the patient may be fast-tracked into same-day surgery. The Urgent Pediatric Fracture Clinic highlights the expert services and streamlined processes that the Spokane Shriners Hospital already embodies, offering high-quality pediatric specialty care. Its medical staff also adjusted and increased capacity to care for patients coming through the fracture clinic.
