Rural Hospital Leadership Conference 2017: Engaged Leaders, Thriving Communities

April 6, 2017

It still feels like winter in most of Washington State, but we’re already gearing up for our 41st Annual Rural Hospital Leadership Conference June 25-28 at Campbell’s Resort in Chelan! Registration is now open, and you can register here. You can also see the tentative agenda and information about accommodations here.

Our theme this year is “Engaged Leaders, Thriving Communities,” and we’ll spend our time in Chelan focusing on how rural hospital leadership can help an entire community prosper. Much is changing in health care across the country, but something that stays constant is the commitment our rural hospitals have to serving their communities.

Our smallest hospitals serve the vast majority of land area in our state, often providing care to communities that span hundreds of square miles. It takes strong leadership to be successful at doing this, and we look forward to connecting you with talented presenters and resources to help your community thrive.

Our speakers this year include Washington Secretary of Health John Weisman, Washington Association of Community & Migrant Health Centers CEO Bob Marsalli, and Dr. Pritpal Tamber, Co-Founder & CEO of Bridging Health & Community at the University of Birmingham in London. You can see the full agenda here.

As always, the conference will kick off with a reception Sunday evening, and we will also have an ice cream social, a wine tasting and a BBQ on the beautiful shores of Lake Chelan. Early bird registration is at a reduced price, so be sure to register before the prices increase May 31! We look forward to seeing you under the sunny skies of Chelan this June!

Sincerely,
