Join WSHA and clinical and quality leaders from across the state on Friday, Nov. 8, at the SeaTac Conference Center as we strive to make a difference in the lives of individuals and communities impacted by the opioid epidemic.
Hospitals are on the front line of the nation’s opioid epidemic, engaging and interacting with persons that may be at risk for opioid-related harm. Collaboration and alignment across the healthcare community is key to preventing opioid-related harm.
Attendees can look forward to:
- Learning evidence-based strategies shaping the future of opioid-related harm in both acute prescribing and overdose prevention reduction.
- Empowering community and strategic alignment to support innovative solutions and the role of health care addressing the opioid crisis.
- Discussing how to dismantle stigmatizing narratives with opioid use disorder.
- Exploring how the impact of current policy and programming supports hospitals in fostering a compassionate, caring space and community.
Registration is free for WA hospitals and includes breakfast, lunch, and networking opportunities.
