Register online now.
The aim of the Pacific Northwest Sepsis Conference is to eliminate global sepsis suffering through education. We are collaborating with the Centre for International Child Health and the Action on Sepsis Research Excellence Cluster, as well as local, national and international sepsis experts, to provide high-quality and inclusive content.
Conference Co-Chair and Harborview Respiratory Care Department Medical Director David Carlbom, M.D., shared, “Our purpose is clear: To create an accessible space for incubating collaboration among sepsis survivors, providers and the health care community to inspire and improve education in all facets of sepsis for equitable patient care and outcomes. This year, we will continue to bring cutting edge science to the bedside. I am excited to be re-energized both intellectually and emotionally and connect with old friends and new friends at the award-winning 10th annual Pacific Northwest Sepsis Conference.”
Event programming will touch upon the spectrum of sepsis, from onset to recovery, pediatrics to elder, and local to global communities. Participants will explore the updated international guidelines of care and the science behind them and examine issues such as the importance of equity in sepsis care, the global burden of sepsis and resiliency for health care workers.
Continuing education credits and contact hours are available for physicians and registered nurses. Early bird pricing is in effect until May 6 and we also have opportunities for scholarships for virtual attendees. Additional event details are available on the event website or the digital even flyer. You are also welcome to reach out to me directly at rosemaryg@wsha.org.
