The Board of Commissioners of Grant County Public Hospital District No. 1 signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) Tuesday afternoon that outlines the basic structural, governance & financial terms of Samaritan’s potential affiliation with Confluence.

A special hi-tech oxygen therapy unit has been added to Highline Medical Center’s variety of resources for healing. The therapy is not new; first used in the mid-1800’s to promote wound healing through the use of oxygen under pressure.
EvergreenHealth, Bloodworks Northwest expand partnership to open in-house transfusion lab
EvergreenHealth and Bloodworks Northwest recently opened an onsite transfusion lab on the EvergreenHealth campus in Kirkland, enhancing efficiency in bloodwork services and testing for patients on the Eastside. The joint initiative expands existing services provided by Seattle-based Bloodworks to EvergreenHealth patients, and further eliminates the barriers of time and proximity for critical transfusion services.
Nurse cares for patient and her dog!
While in PeaceHealth United General Medical Center, one patient wasn’t able to take care of her dog. Recognizing how important her patient’s companion was to her health and recovery, a nurse helped out by caring for the canine so it wouldn’t have to stay in shelter while its human got better.
