Downtown Olympia care center will open in 2017 for mentally ill and homeless people
A social services hub for the street population’s most vulnerable citizens will open next year in downtown Olympia. Providence Health and Services is leading the project, which will bring several agencies together at one location.

Helping poor find dental care: Seattle dentists, clinics and a hospital partner to provide specialty care for teeth
Swedish Medical Center is participating in a pilot program that connects those needing dental work with resources for basic dental services in the community. Those who need more complex care can receive it in the hospital.

MultiCare adds Seattle-based urgent care chain to its system
The nonprofit Tacoma-based heath system announced Wednesday that Immediate Clinic Seattle, Inc., will become part of MultiCare. Immediate Clinic’s locations range from Burien to Everett and from Bellevue to Poulsbo.
