Prevent workplace violence through education and training

October 18, 2019

Health care and social service providers are four times more likely to experience workplace violence than other professionals. To prevent workplace violence in health care setting the Northwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety at UW is hosting one-day workshops on developing, implementing and evaluating workplace violence programs. Click here to register.

The workshops content is based on the Oregon Workplace Safety Initiative Toolkit. Addressing workplace violence is a priority for WSHA, our member hospitals and regional partners. WSHA is actively promoting the use of the Oregon toolkit in Washington to address workplace violence.
