The Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission (PQAC) is currently accepting applications to fill both public member and pharmacist member representative positions. We encourage WSHA members to consider putting forward an applicant from their hospital/health system to ensure hospital pharmacy perspectives are represented on the commission. The application is available online and must be submitted along with a resume by June 21.
To qualify as a pharmacist member, the applicant must be a resident of Washington and be a licensed pharmacist within Washington for at least five consecutive years preceding appointment. To qualify as a public member, the applicant must be a Washington resident and not affiliated with a pharmacy. Additional information is available here. If someone from your hospital/health system applies, please let Remy Kerr know at remyk@wsha.org. (Remy Kerr)
