The Pierce County Project Access Donated Care program is supported by physicians and other health care providers who donate care to Pierce County residents who earn up to 250% of the Federal Poverty level and are uninsured. This network of health care providers was just awarded the City of Tacoma 2015 City of Destiny Award for Health and Wellness! Congratulations to them for donating more than $24 million in care over the past six years.
Pierce County Project Access partners with CHI Franciscan Health and MultiCare Health System to provide a premium assistance program to help provide coverage for people who need support with health insurance payments and relieve some burden from health systems in which patients are requesting charity care.
