WSHA members can now access Sigma Theta Tau International’s Nurse Manager Certificate Program through careLearning. The Nurse Manager Certificate Program is a robust web-based program designed to help develop nursing management competencies necessary to function in today’s fast-paced and ever-changing health care environment.
A few of the modules include “Ethical Principles for Nurse Mangers,” “Legal Documentation and Defenses,” “Managing the Team,” “Facilitating Staff Development” and “Using Evidence to Guide Decision Making.” The cost for the Nurse Manager Certificate Program, which includes the courses listed above, is $450 per person. Quantity discounts are available.
