The March of Dimes is now accepting nominations for Heroes in Action (formerly know as the Nurse of the Year awards). Make a nomination online until July 24. Winners will be announced at the Heroes in Action awards breakfast Friday, Nov. 4 at the Seattle Convention Center (formerly Washington State Convention Center). Those who are nominated will also need to fill out an application form to be eligible.
The award recognizes nurses for their leadership, care and compassion. The 2022 awards mark 20 years of paying tribute to the nursing and maternal and infant health community.
March of Dimes will recognize nurses in 14 categories of care:

There is no fee to submit a nomination, and individuals may submit as many nominations as they like. Once the nomination has been submitted, the nominee will be notified and asked to submit an application.
