WSHA released a new Workplace Violence Prevention webpage with tools and resources to support hospitals in addressing workplace violence and successfully implementing Washington’s new workplace violence law (House Bill 1931, passed 2019). As part of this work, we are promoting the Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems workplace violence prevention toolkit, which provides comprehensive resources to support hospitals in developing and implementing a workplace violence prevention strategy.
Addressing workplace violence is a priority for WSHA, our member hospitals and regional partners. We are here to help support hospitals in understanding the new law, conducting gap/risk assessments or supporting implementation.
