New implementation resources on 2020 laws available now

Many new laws that passed during the 2020 legislative session go into effect on June 11, 2020. Now is a great time to catch up on all the resources that the Government Affairs team has been preparing to help hospitals and health systems get up to speed about the new laws. Please visit the Government Affairs’ New Law Implementation Guide, where you will find a list of high priority bills, their effective dates, whether hospital action is required and the resource WSHA is developing to support members’ implementation work. The team has recently published bulletins on data breach reporting requirements, home health shortage area designation and key changes to the Involuntary Treatment Act, among others.
