New Critical Incident Reporting webpage for Behavioral Health Agencies (BHAs) now online

The Department of Health (DOH) has launched a new Critical Incident Reporting webpage for Behavioral Health Agencies (BHAs) that need to report critical incidents at their facilities such as death, serious injury or attempted suicide. Psychiatric hospitals and acute care hospitals that hold a BHA license are required to report critical incidents within one business day. Psychiatric hospitals are also subject to new reporting requirements under HB 2426. See WSHA’s bulletin on HB 2426, available online.
