Cassie Sauer, Claudia Sanders and Mary Kay Clunies-Ross talked about WSHA’s top priorities for the session, as well as how recent leadership changes might affect health care legislation this year.
It’s scheduled to be a short session, but that doesn’t mean it will be an easy one. We’re going to be looking to improve access to mental health care and pharmacy services, protect rural hospitals, make it easier for licensed physicians to work across state lines, and ensure that hospitals have the flexibility they need to meet the changing needs of their communities.
