The National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC) and the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI) have each compiled a list of the best COVID-19 resources in multiple languages. The NCIHC’s list of resources is here and CCHI’s list of resources is here. CCHI has also developed resources for remote interpreting and posted a free webcast on Practical Tips and Conversation about COVID-19’s Impact on Healthcare Interpreters. Finally, the NCIHC is offering two webinars – one on guidance and tips for the transition to remote interpreting available as a recording and one scheduled for April 25, 2020 on the legal and practical implications for healthcare interpreters doing COVID-19.
