Hospital employees from across the state are invited to attend Health Care Without Harm’s “Community benefit and healthy food: Washington roundtable” from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle. Recognizing the link between healthy food and population health, the roundtable will:
- Introduce participants to a new suite of resources in the “Delivering community benefit: Healthy food playbook;”
- Include a discussion with Seattle Children’s Community Benefit Manager Lara Sim about data collection and health food interventions; and
- Include information from Kaiser Permanente Washington’s Community Health and Benefit Manager Betsy Conrad on her experience in developing a community benefit strategy in a new region.
Light breakfast and refreshments will be included. Learn more and register. (Chelene Whiteaker)
