Hospital Advocacy Day is next Tuesday, Feb. 14! For the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are returning to Olympia in person to meet with lawmakers and tell the hospital story. Since meetings with lawmakers have capped capacities, we are limited in the number of members who can join us on the ground at the capitol, but you can help us advocate for hospitals even if you aren’t physically there.
WSHA’s communications team will be on-site and sharing social media content using #WAHospitalAdvocacy, and we invite you to share our content with your networks. If you will be in attendance, we also encourage you to post to social media using #WAHospitalAdvocacy and tagging your lawmakers when you can. There will also be opportunities on site to share your own stories through WSHA’s “I support my hospital because…” signs and by speaking with our video team.
Connecting with lawmakers is at the heart of hospital advocacy, and we look forward to working with our members to keep improving health care in Washington. If you are registered to join us in Olympia, I look forward to seeing you Tuesday!
Sincerely,
Jacqueline Barton True
