We are very proud of the work our hospitals do every day. Hospitals do an outstanding job of providing care from the beginning to the end of life, and in many unexpected ways.
Each year the Washington State Hospital Association recognizes the excellent work of individuals and organizations who make health care better for the residents of our state. Awards are given annually during WSHA’s Annual Meeting in October.
We would like to honor your hospital’s leaders and programs! Your nominations are welcome– and in fact, needed: Deadlines are coming soon!
31st Annual Joe Hopkins Memorial Award
The Joe Hopkins Memorial Award was created in 1987 to acknowledge an individual who displays the spirit of Joe Hopkins’ vision and dedication to Washington’s hospitals, with a special focus on his interest in rural health. The next award will be presented at the Washington State Hospital Association 2016 Annual Meeting, October 13-14, 2016.
Community Health Leadership Award
The Community Health Leadership Award is given annually to a health care organization that is serving its community’s broader health needs in innovative and lasting ways. We are looking to recognize organizations that are not just serving patients, but are making their entire communities healthier.
