January 29, 2025

ScalaNW is seeking hospital feedback on future clinical guidance resources to ensure the tools they develop are aligned with hospital team needs.

You can weigh in by completing this brief survey by Friday, Feb. 14.

ScalaNW is a program of the Washington State Healthcare Authority supporting the care of patients with substance use disorders in hospitals and emergency departments by providing clinical guidance resources, technical assistance and 24/7 consultation for prescribing medications for substance use disorders.

Hospitals who choose to enroll in the ScalaNW program receive technical assistance for implementing Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) programs in hospitals or emergency departments and access to 24/7 follow-up appointment scheduling for ongoing outpatient care. The ScalaNW program is free to hospitals across Washington. (Brittany Weiner)
