HCA Provides Program Integrity Training Materials

The Washington Health Care Authority (HCA) released a Medicaid program integrity training document as annually required under RCW 74.09.195. The focus of the training is to promote and ensure Medicaid billing compliance. The materials include a summary of the various Medicaid program integrity audits conducted, a summary of audit results, a description of common issues, problems and mistakes identified through audits and reviews, and opportunities for improvement. The training document also includes links to state and federal program integrity regulations and resources. More information can be found on HCA’s Medicaid Program Integrity Webpage.
