The Health Care Authority (HCA) published additional guidance for providers still working toward participating in the HCA’s Link4Health Clinical Data Repository (CDR). This guidance comes after the February 1 first implementation date for providers to share electronic health record (EHR) Medicaid patient data via the CDR.
Recognizing that providers are often dependent on EHR vendors to submit data to the CDR, HCA has provided information on how providers can check the status of their EHR vendor and next steps. In addition to the adoption guidance, HCA has issued a survey to collect information on whether EHR vendors are charging additional costs and fees as part of complying with CDR reporting requirements.
WSHA appreciates HCA’s increased communication with providers and vendors about Link4Health and how to comply with the CDR data reporting requirements. (Zosia Stanley)
