Washington State Health Care Authority Director Dorothy Teeter announced on April 26 her plan to leave the Health Care Authority on June 30, after leading the agency since 2013.
“Dorothy’s vision and leadership for a healthier Washington bolstered our state and ensured residents have access to high-quality, affordable health care,” said Gov. Jay Inslee in a press release. “She has always kept the interests of Washingtonians at the forefront while navigating through a time of unprecedented change in the health care landscape.”
