Grant opportunity for crisis stabilization projects in rural communities

The Washington Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced that $3.5 million in grants are available for capital construction of behavioral health facilities targeting crisis stabilization needs in rural communities. The grants will range from $150,000-$1 million. The application and technical assistance period launches May 17. Funding is open to nonprofits, public entities and for-profit businesses, among others. The funds are available thanks to a public-private partnership between Premera Blue Cross and DOC.
