In the 2023 legislative session, WSHA secured funding for the Washington Center for Nursing (WCN) to develop the Washington State Clinical Placement Initiative, which aims to revolutionize clinical training, diversify learning experiences and overcome barriers for nursing students and clinical programs.
The WCN is hosting its next round of regional meetings for the initiative in September. These meetings will address barriers to the clinical placement goals identified at the May regional meetings. The hospital perspective is critical, and your experience and insight will help ensure that the Initiative’s work is well-informed and effective.
Become an Initiative stakeholder and register for the regional meetings. (Katerina LaMarche)
