The Washington Health Benefit Exchange opened a Special Enrollment Period in February 2021 in response to COVID-19, allowing Washingtonians to apply for health insurance coverage or compare and upgrade existing coverage. This week, the Exchange announced that more than 57,000 individuals living in Washington signed up for coverage between Feb. 15 and Aug. 15, via the Washington Healthplanfinder.
