The John Hopkins Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality, in collaboration with the American College of Surgeons is now enrolling hospitals for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Safety Program for Improving Surgical Care and Recovery. It is a collaborative program to enhance the recovery of surgical patients. There is no fee for hospitals to join.
Interested hospitals – specifically hospitals interested in implementing an emergency general surgery or colorectal enhanced recovery surgery program – are encouraged to begin enrollment now in order to participate in the 18-month program starting Sept. 1, 2020.
