We are very grateful to the many of you who have contributed to the Washington Hospital PAC. Your contributions help us be part of electing champions for hospitals and health care, and advance our advocacy agenda. We’ve got a big year ahead and your contributions really matter. Our 2016 goal is $220,000, and we are almost there with $215,000 raised. Please help us cross the finish line!
One of the goals in our strategic plan is increasing the size and stature of the PAC. The WSHA PAC Advisory Committee and Board of Trustees unanimously passed a resolution in October encouraging broad participation in the PAC. Specifically, the resolution says: “To reach the yearly goal, the board strongly encourages the participation of every WSHA member hospital CEO. The WSHA Board of Trustees further recommends that hospital CEOs seek to have all hospital/health system board members, senior management, and physician leaders contribute at an appropriate level.”
