The Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, Division of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) released a Hazard Alert on Feb. 11, 2022, on Respirator Use to Prevent COVID-19 During Health Care Staff Shortages. The report includes guidance for limiting risk of COVID transmission during staff shortages, especially for hospitals following guidance from the Department Health on contingency and crisis staffing.
