DOH to Host Certificate of Need Rulemaking Kickoff May 25

The Department of Health (DOH) announced that it will hold a Certificate of Need (CN) Rulemaking Kickoff meeting on May 25, 2022, at 2 p.m. via Zoom. The workshop is open to anyone interested in the CN program and will provide an overview of DOH’s upcoming work on the CN rules. According to DOH’s meeting announcement, the rulemaking will focus on “targeted adjustments” to the hospice CN methodology and elective percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) rules. Registration for the meeting is available online and any questions about the rulemaking may be sent to CNRulemaking@doh.wa.gov.
