Developing power presence as a woman in leadership

March 16, 2023

WSHA invites you to celebrate Women’s History Month with WSHA’s Women’s Leadership Program! Participants in the program will learn practical strategies to show up in an intentional, credible, and impactful manner and learn how to craft their own power identity.

We encourage our hospitals to champion gender equity and invest in the development of high-potential women leaders in their organization. Visit the Women’s Leadership Program registration page for full program details and to sign up for the program on April 25. This program is open to women leaders who are looking advance their career and expand their network of health care professionals across the state. It is designed for anyone who identifies as a woman and has at least five years’ post graduate experience and/or supervisory experience is encouraged to join.

Women control 80% of health care purchase and usage decisions but hold less than 20% of executive health care leadership roles nationwide. In the Washington healthcare community, we have a higher number of women in leadership than other parts of the country. Help us continue to support women leaders!
