The Washington State Department of Commerce, in partnership with the Health Care Authority, awarded $1.96 million for Spokane Mental Health Crisis Stabilization. WSHA played a significant role in conceiving and lobbying for this type of funding to support mental health services in our state. The behavioral health facility will have 32 new beds and will offer substance abuse and mental health treatment. It will assist patients who would otherwise go to emergency rooms. Check out the Department of Commerce’s press release for more details.
