WSHA is thrilled to welcome Darcy Jaffe as the new senior vice president for safety and quality! Darcy will bring a collaborative, authentic approach to advancing safety and quality in our region, assisting our members in improving the health of the communities they serve.
Darcy has a master’s degree in nursing and is an advanced registered nurse practitioner. She is an expert in behavioral health and a leader in identifying and advocating for issues at the intersection of public policy and health care quality. Additionally, she is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and an alumna of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Nurse Executive Fellow program.
Most recently served as chief nursing officer and senior associate administrator at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, serving on various quality and analytics committees. As a member of the faculty of the UW School of Nursing, she has expertise in teaching, research and publication. We look forward to her using her quality and safety experience and nurse leadership experience to serve hospitals across the region!
