COVID-19 therapeutics update: Add your NPI to HPOP; Twice-weekly reporting for Evusheld, Paxlovid, Lagevrio and Bebtelovimab; CDC webinar for clinicians

June 16, 2022

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) continue to manage distribution of COVID-19 therapeutics via the Health Partner Ordering Portal (HPOP) to ensure equitable access. Providers will now be required to add their National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers to their HPOP accounts for future ordering. Contact mcm@doh.wa.gov if there is an issue updating an HPOP account. In addition, utilization and stock reporting for Evusheld, Paxlovid, Lagevrio and Bebtelovimab is now required twice per week, via HPOP by 11:59 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hosted a webinar detailing what clinicians need to know about available therapeutic options for COVID-19. Presenters included infection prevention experts from the CDC, the National Institute of Health, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and ASPR. If you missed the live event, the webinar recording and slides will be posted online here.
