Over the next few weeks, lawmakers in Washington, D.C., must tackle a number of critical health care issues, including funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program, expiring Medicare reimbursement policies, 340B and stabilization of the individual insurance market under the Affordable Care Act.
That’s in addition to funding the government after December 8 and the Republican tax bill, which could have a significant impact on the use of tax-exempt bonds and health insurance coverage for individuals. See a more detailed description of the issues we’re working on and our messages about them.
Your voice will be critical when it comes to these issues, and they all are likely to move at a fast pace.
