Columbia County Health System and Booker Rest Home is making it fun to come to work

June 25, 2020

The COVID-19 quarantine and serious illness in our communities and work environments have impacted all of us. Causing many individuals to feel depressed, anxious and wondering when things will get back to normal.

To help improve staff morale and inject a bit of fun back into the workplace, Columbia County Health System and the Booker Rest home organized and hosted several fun activities for their staff and patients.

The first event had staff dress up as their favorite band and they danced and rocked out for their patients. Their next event was a salute to the 1950’s. Staff dressed up as their favorite 1950’s celebrity or character and danced to 1950’s music greeting patients with style and a smile.

The nursing staff went all out for their third event. They performed a chicken dance throughout the rest home complete with music and costumes. The staff absolutely love keeping spirits up and smiles in play for the residents of Booker Rest Home.

These activities really boosted moral of the staff and patients and made the whole work environment a fun place to be.
