We have been alerted to a scam involving fraudulent invoices sent to applicants and certificate holders by an individual or entity impersonating the Certificate of Need (CN) program. Please be aware that the CN program does not issue invoices at any time. All required payments are outlined in state law and are submitted with your application.
If you receive an unexpected invoice claiming to be from the CN program:
- Do not make any payments.
- Report the incident immediately to CN@doh.wa.gov
